The Australian market is open, let’s help you land
Australia is one of the most attractive international markets for both consumer brands and aerospace innovators — and Utah brands are gaining attention. This business trip is designed to help you convert that momentum into real distribution.
WTC Utah returns to Sydney in March to help aerospace and defense companies grow their international footprint — and to support consumer, wellness, and lifestyle brands in scaling through retail, e-commerce, and strategic distribution. This visit builds on the connections from the October governor-led trade mission and is curated for companies ready to grow abroad.
Program goals
Position Utah’s consumer brands to capitalize on retail and e-commerce opportunities in Australia
Support aerospace and defense companies in expanding partnerships, supply chains, and export sales
Leverage trusted networks to deliver expert guidance on marketing, finance, and legal frameworks
Facilitate introductions to distributors, retail platforms, and sales partners in Sydney
Offer a practical masterclass on market entry, packaging standards, and consumer behavior
Strengthen commercial ties between Utah and Australia through sustained, business-led engagement

Why Australia?
Australia is one of the most attractive entry points for U.S. brands expanding into the Indo-Pacific — including leaders in consumer products, wellness, and aerospace and defense.
Shared economic DNA: Like the U.S., Australia is a market-driven economy with a strong culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Innovation-focused: From clean beauty to wellness tech and advanced manufacturing, Australia values the R&D-backed solutions that Utah brands, including aerospace and defense suppliers, deliver.
Stable and strategic: A strong legal framework, predictable regulations, and close U.S. ties make Australia a lower-risk pathway to both global retail and international defense cooperation.
Values-aligned: Businesses in both countries prioritize quality, transparency, and long-term partnerships, whether in supply chains, consumer markets, or government procurement.
