Do you know the way to Sud / Marseille? (Sung to this tune)

During the Paris Air Show last June, Gov. Cox signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with President Renaud Muselier of France’s Région Sud to explore collaboration in new technologies, innovation, and health care.

Building on that momentum, President Muselie traveled to Utah and met with local companies interested in doing business in Region Sud.

Région Sud is home to several centers of innovation including Sophia-Antipolis, Europe’s largest technology park, and several centers of excellence. Its capital city, Marseille, is the founding city of global trade in the Mediterranean. It is also the #1 manufacturer of civil helicopters, and the #2 French center for microelectronics. (Fun fact: WTC Utah led an aerospace and defense delegation to Marseille last summer. Read more.)

This event is hosted was partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Salt Lake Chamber, and 47G.
