On January 18, we hosted a special luncheon with Ambassador Bergdís Ellertsdóttir, the first woman to be appointed Ambassador of Iceland to the United States.
This event was hosted in partnership with Brigham Young University, Economic Opportunity and the Salt Lake Chamber.
Ambassador Bergdís Ellertsdóttir
Ambassador Bergdís Ellertsdóttir is the first woman to be appointed Ambassador of Iceland to the United States, a position she has served in since September 2019. She has extensive experience and has worked on international trade as well as security issues, multilateral, and bilateral issues in her long career within the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
