Connecting across continents

At the invitation of the Wallenberg Group, a prominent Swedish family, WTC Utah led a successful business trip to Stockholm, Sweden. Board Chair Jeff Flake (who was recently awarded Sweden’s Order of the Polar Star) led the delegation alongside Jonathan Freedman and Lew Cramer, with Utah businesses Strider, CenCore Group, Ionic Mineral Technologies, Nusano, and Wasatch Equity Partners. The group developed meaningful partnerships and identified investment opportunities in the defense, energy, and life sciences. 

Throughout the visit, they met with major companies such as Saab Defense, EQT, and Skanska and held high-level discussions with key government ministers. The groundwork laid through this visit has built a strong foundation for future collaboration and investment between Utah and Sweden.
