Time to turn on airplane mode: Utah is back at the Farnborough Airshow 

Utah may have won Best in Show in 2022, but we’re not done showing off. Join us in July 2024 for the opportunity to exhibit in the official State of Utah booth at the biennial Farnborough International Airshow

The Utah booth is sponsored by World Trade Center Utah in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO). 

About the Farnborough International Airshow 

Every two years, the Farnborough International Airshow convenes aerospace manufacturers, contractors, top government, military, and corporate executives from across the globe. 

A launchpad for innovation, the Farnborough Airshow offers Utah companies unparalleled access to debuts of new models from Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and other aerospace, aviation, and defense industry leaders.

1. Connect in person with key industry contacts: Trade shows offer valuable in-person networking interactions, allowing you to build partnerships, explore collaborations, and expand your professional network, both internationally and with other Utah companies.

4. Get boots on the ground without disrupting your annual budget: Through the SBA STEP grant, which WTC Utah administers on behalf of the state of Utah, eligible companies can minimize the hefty out-of-pocket expenses associated with international travel. 

Application

Participating in a shared booth significantly reduces the cost of an international exhibition as the Utah booth fee is just $500. Because individual exhibition spaces are limited, potential attendees will go through a competitive application process. Those selected will be determined based on the following criteria: 

  1. A company must be eligible to receive the SBA STEP Grant. Small businesses can apply for the SBA STEP Grant through World Trade Center Utah. Approved companies will receive funding to offset travel and lodging costs. The grant can NOT be used to cover the WTC Utah booth fee.  All grant awards require a 25% cash match by the recipient.  

  2. Companies must have an export-ready product or service and a plan to grow global revenue through show attendance. 

  3. Companies must meet all application deadlines.  

  4. Selected registrants must attend all orientation sessions before the trade show. 

Application Instructions 

  1. To indicate your interest in the Florida International Medical Expo, please fill out this form by May 1, 2024.

  2. If selected to exhibit, the WTC Utah grant administrator will contact you to complete your STEP application and instruct you on how to register as a co-exhibitor.
