Utah named best state overall

According to the recent list released from the U.S. News and World Report, the Beehive State has the best economy in the nation and ranks 1st in fiscal stability, 4th in infrastructure, and 5th in education.

The early pioneers who settled the area in the mid-1800s valued cooperation, unity, and industry. Today, Utah embodies those principles through its diverse economy, robust work ethic, and resourcefulness.

Since 2017, Utah has been consistently recognized as the 3rd best state for business by Forbes Magazine. Successful homegrown companies like Vivint, Lucid, and Nomi Health, along with notable industry leaders such as Adobe, Qualtrics, and Goldman Sachs help employ Utah’s rapidly growing population.

Utah has also received national attention as the best state for entrepreneurship with the highest rate of unicorns per capita in the U.S. and a booming tech industry of more than 7,000 companies.
