Beginning with the strategic missile programs of the 1950s, Utah has grown to one of the highest concentrations of advanced-materials companies in the nation and employs more than 16,000 workers.
In partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Utah Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Initiative, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, World Trade Center Utah led a delegation of 6 growing Utah composite materials companies to represent the state’s advanced materials industry at the trade show.
At the show, IsoTruss® carbon fiber tower was named winner of the JEC Composites Innovation Awards.
