Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S.
Dr. Suriya Chindawongse serves as Thailand’s ambassador to the United States, representing the country’s diplomatic, economic, and cultural interests in Washington, D.C. Over the course of his diplomatic career, he has held senior roles in Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and overseas missions, helping strengthen Thailand’s partnerships with governments, industry leaders, and international organizations.
As ambassador, he works to deepen U.S.–Thailand cooperation across trade, investment, security, and innovation while supporting stronger ties between American states and Thailand’s growing economy.
