Austria is known for its iconic landscapes, rich cultural heritage and central position in Europe. It is also a hub for innovation, research and international business.
Join World Trade Center Utah for a Crossroads of the World discussion featuring Consul General Christine Moseras we explore opportunities for greater collaboration between Utah and Austria.

Christine Moser
Consul General of Austria
Christine Moser was appointed Consul General in Los Angeles in March 2025 and assumed the post in August of that year. As such, she covers the following 16 U.S. states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.
This is her third stay in the U.S.A., following a Fulbright scholarship for Smith College, Mass., and the director position of the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York.
She is a senior career diplomat. Previous postings include Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Development in Europe, Ambassador to Algiers and Niamey, Director of the ACFNY (same rank as the CG), and deputy chief of the Austrian embassy in Paris.
She has also accumulated rich expertise in the field of European integration, accompanying Austria’s accession, E.U. Council Presidencies as well as E.U. treaty reform conferences, and the United Nations, in particular the human rights and humanitarian aid fields.
