On December 4, Utah will welcome its first-ever nonstop flight to Lima, Peru. With it comes a new chapter in our global connections and our first direct link to South America. 

Peruvian Congress Chairman Eduardo Salhuana highlighted 200 years of strong U.S.-Peru relations at the "Strengthening Ties Between Utah and Peru" meeting in Lima. He emphasized shared democratic values, economic ties, and opportunities for further trade, especially in agriculture and mining. Utah lawmakers and Peruvian legislators attended, reinforcing the importance of bilateral cooperation.
